Joshua sits about seven minutes south of our Burleson yard on SH 174. We work in Johnson County every week, so the roads and soils around 76058 are familiar. Much of Joshua is acreage rather than tight city lots, with older farmhouses and mobile homes. Out past Caddo Grove and along FM 917, tracts run big and heavy equipment has room. Closer to the middle of town, lots tighten up, and the work takes a lighter touch. Stock tanks, gravel drives, old barns and metal sheds come with the territory here.
In Joshua we take on residential and commercial demolition, concrete removal, pool demolition and mobile home removal. We also handle excavation and dirt work, grading, site prep and pond construction. Monty Cain has run demolition and dirt work in this part of Johnson County for decades. About twenty of us do the work, with excavators from compact size up to a Kobelco 350. Dozers, wheel loaders and skid loaders work alongside them, plus three roll-off trucks. We keep about seventy-five dumpsters, so debris leaves your property on our equipment. Estimates are free, and you can reach us at (817) 564-4360.

A lot of Joshua work starts the same way. A family owns land off SH 174 or FM 917, and the old house on it has reached the end. Sometimes it is a farmhouse from decades back. Often it is a mobile home that has sat empty since the last owner left. We usually have seventeen to eighteen house demolitions running at once, so the process is routine for us. We take the structure down, pull the slab or piers, and load the debris into our dumpsters. Abandoned wells and old septic tanks have their own rules in Texas, and we sort that out first.
Mobile home removal is its own job. Older single-wides and double-wides in Joshua often sit on blocks, with decks and add-on rooms. We cut the home into pieces, pull the frame, and clear the piers and tie-downs. The pad gets cleaned up so a new home can go where the old one stood. Power poles, propane tanks and buried lines need attention before anything comes down. We call in the disconnects and let the utility crews finish their part first.
Water sits at the center of a lot of Joshua properties. Old stock tanks silt in over the years, and the dam or spillway starts to give. We can clean out a tank, rebuild the dam, and shape the banks so they hold. New ponds take more thought before the first bucket of dirt moves. We look at where water already runs, what the soil is, and how the pond drains. Soils here run from sand to heavy clay, and that changes how a pond holds water.
Dirt work follows most of our demolition jobs. After a house comes down, the ground often needs shaping before a builder can set forms. We haul in fill, cut pads, build gravel drives, and slope the ground away from the new slab. Inside Joshua city limits, the city handles demolition permits through its development services office on South Main Street. Out in unincorporated Johnson County the rules read differently, and the county handles development and floodplain items. We check the current requirements for your address before we start.
