Kennedale sits in Tarrant County, tucked between Fort Worth and the southeast side of Arlington. Our shop is in Burleson, about ten minutes down the road. We run demolition and dirt work here most weeks. The town is small, near 6.6 square miles, and a lot of it was built out in the 1980s. Kennedale Parkway is the Business 287 route through town. Along it you see older shop buildings and metal salvage yards. Off Kennedale Sublett Road and Bowman Springs Road, the lots get bigger. Older houses and pole barns sit on acreage that owners now want cleared.

Much of Kennedale's housing stock went up in the 1980s or earlier. In Oak Crest and Woodlea Acres, mature trees crowd the yards and driveways are narrow. Older sections near Village Creek and CC Swiney sit on wider lots with room to work. We size the machine to the lot. A compact excavator fits a tight side yard off Dick Price Road. A larger machine speeds up an open acreage teardown near Bowman Springs Road. Either way the debris goes into our roll off boxes and leaves the site.
Utility disconnects come first. Gas, water, power, and sewer all get cut and capped before a machine touches the house. That step often sets the schedule more than the teardown does. A house comes down in a day or two once the site is ready. We separate the concrete and metal where it makes sense, then haul the rest. After the structure is gone we backfill the hole and rough grade the pad. If you plan to rebuild, we can leave the dirt at the elevation your builder wants.
Business 287 runs through town as Kennedale Parkway. The frontage there carries older metal shops and small warehouses. Some yards along it are left over from the salvage business. Those buildings often sit on thick slabs with old pits and heavy steel. We bring a Kobelco 350 class excavator for that kind of work. Concrete gets broken out and loaded, and rebar comes with it. The same goes for shop pads off Kennedale Sublett Road. If part of the slab stays, we can saw cut a clean edge and leave the rest.
Kennedale takes permit applications through an online city portal. The city lists a residential demolition permit and a commercial demolition permit there. It also lists a clearing and grading permit and a floodplain development permit. Village Creek runs through the area, so floodplain rules can apply near the low ground. The city says permits that need plan review usually take five to ten business days. Rules and fees change, so we confirm the current requirements with Kennedale before we start.
